May 7-8. the Techtogether Automotive Hungary competition was organized for domestic engineering students at the Hungexpo.
Zoltán Szilágyi, teaching assistant at the Technical Faculty of Alba Regia University of Óbuda and also an employee of SZTIP, gave an interesting presentation on the topic “Robotics & technological developments”. He explained that the aim of their research is to further improve its efficiency and sustainability, all this by using mixed reality tools.
The event entitled Connectivity, digitalization, industrial solutions was organized jointly by Festo Magyarország Kft., Fanuc and Wenglor Sensoric Hungária at the Székesfehérvár Science and Innovation Park.
Secondary school teachers from Székesfehérvár visited the Alba Régia Faculty of Óbuda University, where they also visited the VR and Robotics labs of the Science Park.
We handed over the first phase of our Science and Innovation Park in Székesfehérvár. At the event Rector Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Minister of Finance Mihály Varga, Mayor Dr. András Cser-Palkovics, Managing Director Lóránt Lehrner, and Technical Director Prof. Dr. Györök György inaugurated the Industry 4.0, Drone Technology, Virtual Reality-supported design and Robotics laboratories. These are the areas in which research and development can begin, as well as joint cooperation with our industrial partners in the surrounding areas.
Among the invited guests were the members of the Board of Trustees of the Rudolf Kalman Foundation for Óbuda University, the management of Óbuda University, the managing directors of Science Pillar Nonprofit Ltd., the managers of the Zsámbéki Future Industry Science and Innovation Park and the Kaposvár Smart Industry Science Industrial Park, as well as our economic partners Harman Becker Ltd, Videoton Holding Zrt, Jászplasztik Zrt, Arconic-Köfém Mill Products Hungary Kft, Kyndryl Hungary Kft, Denso Gyártó Magyarország Kft.
We gave information about our activities to the students of Óbuda University at job fairs held at 3 locations (Bécsi út, Tavaszmező utca, AMK Székesfehérvár), with the aim that, if possible, the students studying here could also get involved in the scientific laboratory work, as well as get an insight into the Székesfehérvár Science and Innovation Park that affects them about its future possibilities.
This year in Székesfehérvár, we are focusing on robotics, mechatronics and aviation industry developments due to the local conditions. Scientific labs will be created and handed over in the following topics: VR, INDUSTRY 4.0, ROBOTICS, which will soon be open to visitors.
The leaders of SZTIP (Székesfehérvár Science and Innovation Nonprofit Kft.) are managing director Lóránt Lehrner, professional director Prof. Dr. Györök, and the rector of Óbuda University Prof.Dr. Levente Kovács participated in the professional conference.
On behalf of VIDEOTON HOLDING ZRt, Co-CEO Ottó Sinkó and Managing Director Ferenc Lóránt Lehrner from Székesfehérvár Tudományos és Innovációs Nonprofit Kft. signed a cooperation agreement on 28.07.2023. mobilize and thereby raise the level of research and development in Hungary.
Academic knowledge on the part of the Óbuda University, SZTIP (Székesfehérvár Tudományos és Innovációs Nonprofit Kft.) and VIDEOTON serve as the basis for the priority research areas. The parties intend to achieve the objectives by solving innovation tasks, organizing educational and research programs, providing professional internships, and individual care of outstanding talents.
At the University of Óbuda and the staff of Arconic-Köfém Mill Products Hungary Kft., they held a meeting about possible further cooperation opportunities in the future.
An informal meeting took place between ÓE AMK, SZTIP and the now-established venture capital investment company OEVC (University of Óbuda Venture Capital), where the idea of the Ventures Stimulation project was born. The future goal is to involve startup companies in collaborations with the University and Science Parks.
